Just about to leave Grandma’s and I saw loads of birds flitting around the feeders on a tree. So I set up a stool and snapped some pictures using the 100-400mm. I think they have come out beautifully - the Goldfinches especially. I might take this hobby up - it’s the first time I’ve been truly impressed with the 100-400mm. It might remain in the arsenal yet! Had the camera on full blast mode too, which was impressive also - 15fps Mechanical Shutter. The camera can do up to 30fps, which is a bit mental, but it’s cropped and is using the Electronic Shutter, which doesn’t make any noise. I prefer to hear the whirr of the shutter, because I’m old.
