A two-day whisky voyage to the best place on the planet for incredible drams.
Day 1 was the AD/Venturer’s tasting at The Ardnamurchan Bunkhouse, where 6 incredible spirits (there was a 16yo Brandy in there too) were laid out for us all to try. Some secret whiskies too!
Day 2 was the big day, the inaugural Open Day for the distillery. A jam-packed day of fun, with a retrospective in the morning of the whisky as it has progressed over the 12 years of distilling at Glenbeg. The afternoon was a unique cask exploration - Orange Wine, spirits blended at birth and casked to see what might happen, and some funky heavily peated drams too.
I camped in a tent. It was not a disaster.
